The historical and notable site built with red sand stone on the bank of
river Yamuna in Agra with Taj Mahal for a memorable Agra tour. The Agra Fort is
a capital and residential fort of Mughal Empire until 1638 before Delhi.

It is said that this is the fort where Mughal emperor Shah Jahan at the end
of his life was deposed and home prison by his son Aurangzeb. Famous rumor
regarding Agra Fort is Shah Jahan died in Muasamman Burj in a fort.
Agra Fort is a UNSECO World heritage site and one of the very important forts
in terms of architectural history in Agra. It has been said more than five
hundred buildings built in the fort. Unfortunately most of them are demolished
in different period by Shah Jahan and British. Only thirty of them able to survive
some of them are built by Shah Jahan as a white marble palace.
