Fort is the last resting place of Mughal Emperor Akbar in outskirt of Agra popularly known as Sikandra Fort. Sikandra Fort is located in distance of 13 km before Agra in Agra Delhi old highway. Sikandra Fort is an important Mughal architectural masterpiece in Agra built in 1605 – 1613 by his son Jahangir.

Fort is red sand stone and marble tomb built in 119 acres and this glorious monument
show cases the fusion of Budhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain and Islamic artwork. Tomb is planned and site was selected by
Emperor Akbar by himself while he alive. It is also one of the most preserve and
well maintain site in Agra after Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
